    Hellloooo, Williams Sisters!

Yes America, it's that time again.

    Summer.

    July.

    The Fourth.

    The American Revolution.

Celebrated in London, England (down with all tyrants!)

At the All England Club, Wimbledon.

With the American Revolution in tennis.

    A pair of sisters.

    Venus and Serena Williams.

    Great champions of the sport.

    In the final on Saturday.

Once again (Can The Queen make it six times?  Can she win three in a row?).

Wimbledon.  The Ladies Final.  Like it ought to be.

How do you figure Venus for the Queen when SerenaRulesAll?

Serena looks more confident and fitter than last year so I will GUESS she will take it.

The Williams' story is THE most underreported sports story in the world.  Richard the first deserves more credit than he has garnered.  I would love to see an interview with either Richard or Oracene during the final.  I'd love to see a commercial for iphones with Richard in it texting away, etc.

Nothing but a party in the friends box!

Sure, The Serene One Rules All.  But every rule(r) has an exception.  And what an exception is Venus Ebony Starr Williams!  Already etched in the history books for her wins at Wimbledon (behind Navratilova and Graf; in front of King and Evert), in this period of the Open era no one can deny that Venus is truly the Queen of The Grass Court.  At least at the All England Club.  We shall see if The Queen can keep her crown come Saturday.

I am curious if you have a preference or preferences regarding the two best female tennis players in the world.  Any preference for who wins W this year?  Any differences in personality or style of play you find appealing?  What sorts of strategies should each employ against the other?  I am interested to hear perspective from the ultimate Williams fan on this site.

Glad to see them setting the record straight on the doubles court too.
