    Where is the crummy justice...

    I have to endure Fed going through Haas and Del Potro and Soderling at the French, thinking, "Yeh, but Roger, when you hit the Big W, there will be Djoko, Murray and Nadal for you to contend with. The big boys!" And now, and now, Fed gets Karlovic, Haas and Roddick! Where is the crummy justice. I might as well go out and play Roger for #15, or Scoop, or maybe Lendlfan, b/c we'd have as good a chance as Roddick.

    I'm not saying Roddick didn't play well and deserve to be in the finals. But what has Roddick beaten Fed like once in the past six years? Lotsa luck. Truly, I'd rather see Johhny Mac and Bjorn Borg play tat-team against Fed in Canadian Doubles than have to watch Fed straight-set Roddick, or at best, 4-set him.

    Ah Redhead, I did think of you today.

    Guess you prefer watching mediocrity (Spadea, Djoker, etc.) to greatness.

    Just what did happen to your big boys? Djoker and Murray ("big boys") weren't 'fresh at the US Open; then they all crash out in Paris and the Big W.  Did Djoker and Murray lose, because they were afraid of the beat down Fed was going to give them?

    Dman1, it's a crying shame. Both Djoker and Andyboy have become too clinical in their approaches instead of letting it just rip. The Fed gets off the hook yet again. If only Spadea was 10 years older and coached by Stefanki. Oh, think of it! Ah yet, it's too bittersweet.

    Somehow I think I know who is crying these days! ; - }

    I really think you undersetimate Roddick.

    Yes, Federer has owned him. And yes Federer is favored this year. But this is a different Roddick. Except maybe the '04 final where Andy thought he was Federer's equal, this is one of the first times I think Andy feels like he can win the match.

    Roger does have pressure on him. A Wimbledon final. The chance to break the all-time record for most majors won. And regaining the #1 ranking.

    There have been a number of huge upsets in the finals of majors over the years. Ashe over Connors in 75, Orantes over Connors in US Open 75; Sanchez over Graf and Chang over Edberg in 1989 French.  So don't discount Roddick.
