Marat Safin, the well-known Tennis player was started his career in early ages. Born and brought up in Moscow, he belongs to a non-practicing Muslim family. Both his parents were known as tennis coaches and players. Thus, his learning process started at his home under his parents coaching. At the age of fourteen, Martin shifted to Valencia, city of Spain so that he can easily access one of the recognized advanced training programs of tennis only because of the unavailability of this program in Russia. Early days, Safin used to play in several clubs. He started his professional career in the year of 1997. Then in 2000, 2002 and 2004 he won in France and Paris and made a grand record. In 2004, he won in Spain and Madrid. Safin participated in Tennis masters’ cup held in Houston in 2004 where he played against famous player Roger Federer and defeated by him completely. Although he had a strong opponent, he was able to reach the semifinals of that game. While it comes to discussing about safin’s contribution in Davis Cup, he played for his own country Russia and successfully achieved the first Davis Cup in 2002 against France. He is pretty comfortable communicating in various languages such as English, Spanish, and his mother language Russian.
