Good point. They did allow Serena to toot her own horn to a degree and she did an interview and said she has been doing alot of fitness work. I noticed.

I think they should interview Richard or Oracene someday, especially the day of the women's final. You can't tell me that Richard, who looked directly into the camera right after they Interviewed Venus on her way out to the semi, would not do an interview on the day of the women's final. If it was Johnnie and Paddie Mac they would be all over the parents.

Because she doesn't talk about her fitness, she mostly talks about how mentally ready she is. And frankly in their eyes they don't know what a fit Black woman look like who still got some junk in the trunk and busty. After Serena slapped some critics down by saying she was never going to be as thin as the Olsen twins, they left her alone. Some said that Seles was still too fat.

She looks to be in about as good a shape as she can humanly possibly be. You know when she wears the white cycle tight shorts to the TV interview sit down she is in top condition. She is moving fantastic, no signs of fatigue. There was a lot of bitching about her supposed lack of conditioning for the longest time, now that she's in excellent shape, why don't they give credit to her?
