The big boys!" And now, and now, Fed gets Karlovic, Haas and Roddick! Where is the crummy justice. I might as well go out and play Roger for #15, or Scoop, or maybe Lendlfan, b/c we'd have as good a chance as Roddick.

I'm not saying Roddick didn't play well and deserve to be in the finals. But what has Roddick beaten Fed like once in the past six years? Lotsa luck. Truly, I'd rather see Johhny Mac and Bjorn Borg play tat-team against Fed in Canadian Doubles than have to watch Fed straight-set Roddick, or at best, 4-set him.

I really think you undersetimate Roddick.

Yes, Federer has owned him. And yes Federer is favored this year. But this is a different Roddick. Except maybe the '04 final where Andy thought he was Federer's equal, this is one of the first times I think Andy feels like he can win the match.

Roger does have pressure on him. A Wimbledon final. The chance to break the all-time record for most majors won. And regaining the #1 ranking.

There have been a number of huge upsets in the finals of majors over the years. Ashe over Connors in 75, Orantes over Connors in US Open 75; Sanchez over Graf and Chang over Edberg in 1989 French. So don't discount Roddick.

Re: Where is the crummy justice...

redhead:

Dman1, it's a crying shame.
