He reached the finals of the Austrian Open.  Yes, I know he lost badly to Del Potro.  Juan Martin is playing great right now.  He also won last week.

This is the last tournament to be held in Kitzbuhel.  That is a shame because they used to get lots of top players.

I am proud of Jurgen for doing so well.  He has had a tough year and is just now starting to play well again.  He will not be coming to the states before the Olympics, so I will not see him in Cincy.  Darn!

I saw that Jurgen was doing well - yeay for Jurgen!!!  And yes, JMDP is hot right now (good to see him come back, because looked bleak there for awhile with his back problems).

The Olympics is killing the summer schedule - like 4 tournaments per week, and none of the top players want to play because of Toronto, Cincy, and the Olympics. I wish the players didn't go to the Olympics - one, it's supposed to be an amateur event, and two, it hurts the summer season every four years - not fair to those tournaments.

Yes, I meant Melzer.  I am not a great typist and misseed the M.

 He is  going to play both singles and doubles (with Julian Knowle) at the Olympics.  I wonder if we will get to see any  of the tennis?
