I like Serena but find Mary Carillo FULL of BS. It is also important to keep in mind that there are other markets outside the US where tennis commands a greater share of the viewing market. If Serena is the most watched player maybe that is testament to how poorly the men are promoted during their telecasts John McEnroe et al.

In a draw of 128 there are 127 losers. Vince has and will get back everything he has put into the game.  When Vince's professional path is complete he can walk away with a huge degree of satisfaction and find a new role right?  We all know is very skilled at telling it like it is.

I happened to grow up living around and loving 70s music - it should never be banned from anywhere. Tennis does not exist in a vacuum, most people are working out of self interest.  Donald Dell, WTA, Williams', players, Roddick, tournament directors, etc. are all people. 

Please watch and root for the American boys!  They need all the help they can get.   I would love to see the Open qualies but need to plan better.
